Year in review

 First I finished Travis' quilt.

Then I made Meghan E an apron and potholders for Christmas...
and then Emily, Allison, Krista and I made wedding earrings and bracelets

and Travis, Emily, and I cut out beach/welcome bags for me to get started sewing...
and I started experimenting with muslin and organza for the wedding dress.....
I then took a break from wedding things and turned to graduation time, and made Florence a quilt

After that it was warm enough to refinish the guest room windows, install cove  and picture rail mouldings, and finally paint and wallpaper.
Meanwhile, I finalized the dress design with Emily and started the skirt...

But then it was time to take a trip with Derek to see Emily and Kerry, where we got to help set up the nursery furniture.
When we got back, I tried, I really did, but I couldn't resist a little gardening.
but I did keep on working on the skirt...
I "finished"  redecorating the guest room....
and covered the ugly bifold closet doors
and treated myself to making some baby clothes
in preparation for Emily and Kerry's visit and the baby shower.
While Emily was home, she selected fabrics, and I serged 15 tablecloths and 120 napkins for the wedding supper.
and kept on working on the dress
and then came Maeve:) and a wonderful 2 week trip to NH

after which, I got ready for Emily, Kerry and Maeve's visit and her baptism

After Christmas, it was back to finishing up the beach/welcome bags with Allison, Travis and Candace and then putting the finishing touches on all 80 bags.
and then on to the mother of the bride and maid of honor dresses
While Devin finished the new hand rail
and rewired and lowered the dining room chandelier and installed a ceiling medallion. I know, I know, these last 2 were Devin's projects but I am so happy with them!!
